Pinckney is a small community of approximately 2,500 residents. The quaint downtown area is home to several shops, restaurants, businesses and its’ new library.

Pinckney Community Schools offer programs and services for learners of all ages. Teachers provide a strong academic program as recognized by North Central. All Pinckney Community Schools receive A’s and B’s on the State Report Card from the Michigan Department of Education. The majority of teachers at Pinckney hold advanced college degrees. Pinckney is part of the Pinckney-Lakeland-Hamburg-Hell Division of the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce. Many events are put on during the year by the Chamber, such as Art in the Park, Movies in the Park, and the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
